Zoo Association

Support the zoo by becoming a member of the association!

Founded to accompany the zoo's growth, our association aims to support our efforts in wildlife conservation and infrastructure improvement.

The association pursues the following objectives:

• Financial assistance for the restoration and repair of the zoo in the event of natural disasters
• Support for the construction and improvement of infrastructure to enhance comfort for both animals and visitors
• Education and awareness of the alpine wildlife through signage and educational or cultural materials
• Promote the development and sustainability of the Zoo des Marécottes

As a member, you can take part in the general assembly and follow the progress of various projects:

• Renovation of the chamois park (concrete base for posts, posts and fencing)
• Renovation of the bear pond (sealing and masonry of small wall)
• Raccoon enclosure (renovation and extension of the former beaver area)
• Playground for children
• Signage designed for children
• Secured entrance gate
• Forest maintenance of the park
• Conversion of the duck shelter into a chicken coop
• Aviary for rock partridges
• Aviary for birds unable to return to the wild
• Vivarium for alpine reptiles and amphibians
• Renovation and extension of the wild boar enclosure
